We began our journey in the spring of 2003, at our little juice bar called Daily Juice, in Austin, Texas. Inspired by a series
of conversations with his future business partner, Keith created the prototype Spirulina Bee Pollen Bar and unleashed it on
his juice bar customers. It was an instant hit. It wasn't long before it was on the shelves of the local co-op. And so the
story begins..
Since then we have developed into one of the hottest up-and-coming raw foods companies on the map.
Our Philosophy
We believe in eating for both health and pleasure. Proper nutrition is the foundation of a healthy, happy life. We seek
to help people accomplish this by offering foods that are healthy and taste great. Using only organically-grown, wholesome
ingredients is the key. The truth is, food really does taste its best when it is left unprocessed.
What does "Baraka" mean?
"Baraka" is an ancient Sufi word meaning "spiritual gift, blessing, or offering". This word is appropriate
because we infuse each of our offerings with a different blessing or intention:
